MR. PRESIDENT AND THE FIRST LADY AT THE SHUSHA TREATMENT AND WELLNESS CENTER

President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva Attend the Inauguration of the Shusha Treatment and Health Center

Minister of Health Teymur Musayev informed the President and the First Lady about the work carried out.

The foundation of this medical facility was laid in November 2021 with the participation of President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva. The center consists of six buildings and has a capacity of 90 beds. It will house departments such as therapy, pediatrics, surgery, and others. The center also includes a consultative polyclinic, a children's polyclinic, radiology and diagnostic departments, functional diagnostics, physiotherapy and medical rehabilitation departments, and a clinical diagnostic laboratory. The Shusha Treatment and Health Center is equipped with modern medical equipment that meets international standards, including a CT scanner, digital telescopic X-ray, and digital stationary ultrasound machines. These facilities allow for high-quality diagnosis and treatment of patients.

On the premises of the center, buildings for the Center of Hygiene and Epidemiology, a hemodialysis unit, and other facilities have also been constructed.

It should be noted that in addition to other sectors, the Azerbaijani state is carrying out large-scale work to ensure high-quality healthcare services in the territories liberated from occupation. The establishment of such a modern medical facility in Shusha is a clear example of this effort. The Shusha Treatment and Health Center plays a significant role as a social infrastructure project aimed at providing healthcare services and protecting the health of the city's residents. In addition, residents of nearby cities and districts will also be able to benefit from the center's services.
